5th Annual Tonneson + Co 5k Run/Walk to Benefit Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry

~Save the Date:  Sunday, July 16, 2017~

The Fifth Annual Tonneson + Co 5K run/walk benefiting the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry’s Kids First program will take place on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. at Lake Quannapowitt.  The Kids First program provides food to families with school age children during the summer months.  Many families receive free or reduced price breakfast and lunch during the school year, but this help is not available during the summer.  The Kids First program provides the added food items to help replace those meals.

This is an event for runners of all skill levels, as well as walkers, and strollers are welcome. Registration fees are $25 for participants age 14 and over (increasing to $30 on race day), $15 for participants 13 and under, and $70 for a family of four (increasing to $75 on race day).  Overall and age group awards will be given, and all participants age 13 and under will receive a medal.  The race starts and ends at the Bandstand, and race day registration begins at 7:00 a.m.
