Programs

The Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry distributes more than 24 tons of food annually to hundreds of local Wakefield residents.

Some segments of the population are underserved by established meals programs, most notably children, seniors, and those who are disabled. Our Direct Service Programs --- Kids First, Supplies for Seniors, and Holiday Baskets -- work to alleviate that problem, allowing the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry to reach out to those groups directly by taking an active role within the communities we serve. These programs depend on our donors, food donors, volunteers, and community organizations, and serve as an essential source for nutritious food, education, and information, helping thousands of at-risk individuals in our community.
