How to Get Help
Our clients range from people who have been recently laid off, to seniors and others who can't make ends meet due to fixed incomes, disability, low-paying jobs or various health issues
If you are a Wakefield resident and are in need of food, you can receive assistance, regardless of your religious affiliation, if any. The Food Pantry, located at the First Baptist Church - 8 Lafayette Street in Wakefield, is open on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (major holidays excluded). If there is an emergency situation, you may call the Food Pantry to make an appointment. Please bring proof that you live in Wakefield (e.g. utility bill).
The Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization.
