Sweat Cycling Studio (13 Princess Street in Wakefield) recently held a fundraiser for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. Despite the storms and mountains of snowbanks, the studio combined the opportunity to gather friends and get a great workout while raising money for the food pantry through their “Spin in the New Year” event. Sweat Cycling is a newer addition to downtown Wakefield but has gained diehard fans who are addicted to their unique spinning classes. Sarah Fowler is one of those fans who organized the event in the interest of helping her neighbors in need and supporting local business. Participants raised $200 and burned countless calories. Many thanks to Sweat for their generosity!
